Flox Medical and its collaborators at University of Pennsylvania are leading the industry in the monitoring of tissue health with VOIS, a non-invasive, hybrid NIRS medical device,  It is a simple to use, portable device providing accurate, real-time analysis of blood flow and blood oxygenation of tissue.

 

VOIS has applications across many arenas including vascular diseases (e.g. peripheral artery disease, compartment syndrome), cerebral monitoring (including the neonate level), anesthesiology, sports medicine, chronic vascular diseases (e.g. stroke and coronary artery disease) and cancer therapy (e.g. breast imaging, head/neck).

 

Given its broad market potential, VOIS is well positioned to be introduced as one of the first “next generation” tissue health diagnostic/monitoring products.

 

Today, Flox Medical has focused it efforts on vascular limb diseases, specifically peripheral artery disease (PAD) and compartment syndrome (CS).
